Most people assume that executives of major technology companies use artificial intelligence in highly sophisticated ways, but the reality is quite different. Last month, in a podcast, Sam Altman revealed, “I use AI in a very boring way.” He explained that he primarily relies on AI to organize emails and summarize important documents.
Sam Altman is not alone in using AI this way. NVIDIA’s CEO, Jensen Huang, mentioned in a speech last year that he uses AI chatbots to help draft documents.

Similarly, Microsoft’s CEO, Satya Nadella, stated at the Fast Company Innovation Festival 2024 that he leverages AI technology to manage his Outlook inbox.
According to a 2024 Gallup survey, the most common uses of AI chatbots include idea generation, information consolidation, and automating routine tasks.
