WASHINGTON –U.S. President Donald Trump has claimed that the United States possesses such a vast nuclear arsenal that it could destroy the world 100 times over.
Speaking to the media at the White House, Trump stated that the U.S. does not need to develop new nuclear weapons, suggesting that the saved funds could be redirected toward other national priorities.
A Call for Global Defense Budget Cuts
Trump expressed his desire for the U.S., Russia, and China to cut their defense budgets by half, emphasizing the need for reduced military spending among the world’s leading powers.
He further revealed that he intends to propose this idea in his upcoming meetings with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping.
