07 March 2025 – Since the introduction of Meta AI in WhatsApp, the messaging platform has been focusing heavily on artificial intelligence (AI) features. Now, WhatsApp has introduced another AI-powered feature that allows users to generate profile photos for group chats.

According to a report by WABetaInfo, this new feature has been rolled out in WhatsApp’s beta version. Initially, it was speculated that the feature would be introduced for users’ personal profile pictures.
The report states that users will be able to create unique group chat profile photos using Meta AI. This AI-powered feature will be particularly useful for those who find it difficult to choose a suitable image for their groups. The AI technology will now generate images based on users’ instructions, especially if the chat group is created around a specific theme.
